6 Steps to Goal Setting
Step 1: List all your lifelong Dreams and prioritize them (1= most important, 10 = least important)
Step 2: List the top goals you want to achieve in the next 10 years and prioritize them
Step 3: List 1 of the 10-year goals to start on this year
- Break it down into monthly goals (12 segments)
- Break it down into weekly goals (4-5 segments/mo)
Step 4: Make a list of Chores/Tasks
- Annual (Semi-Annual)
- Monthly
- Bi-Monthly
- Weekly
- Daily
Examples) Do Homework, Clean House, Clean Garage, Go to work, Brush Teeth, Feed Pets, etc…
Step 5: Evaluate how much time for each goal
- For lifetime goals daily
- For Chores/Tasks daily
- How much time sleeping
Step 6: Are these goals realistic?
